RULE BOTH WORLDS
Pass, sprint, shoot – it all counts in EA SPORTS FIFA Mobile. Adidas teamed up with EA SPORTS FIFA Mobile & Jacquard™ by Google to create GMR, a game-changing insole with a smart tag. Slip it into any boot and it connects your Football effort to the game. Now when you improve, so does your EA SPORTS FIFA Mobile team. Breeze through challenges, unlock Skill Boosts, raise your OVR rating and own the bragging rights on the leaderboards.
adidas GMR is a new way to play connected — it consists of the GMR insole and Jacquard Tag. You take the Tag, developed by Google and capable of detecting Football-specific movement, and place it in the GMR insole. The Tag understands what you do on the pitch and merges this via the GMR App into the FIFA Mobile game.
How can the FIFA Mobile user be guided through the setup- and tag pairing-process as smooth and quick as possible? What information does the user actually demand within the GMR App when there is also the FIFA Mobile Application?
The adidas GMR App is used to setup and manage the Jacquard Tag. It also syncs all the data from the Tag to the EA SPORTS FIFA Mobile game. So GMR has to be available when user need it, but invisible when they do not.
The GMR App connects the analog with the digital world and helps the users to jump on that journey: From an easy to use and fast onboarding that also includes the pairing-process of the tag, to a dashboard were the recurring tag-sync is managed as well as stats are displayed and a real-time support chat, in case that anything does not work as expected.
The dashboard displays all relevant information about the Jacquard Tag: Battery- and connection status, the given name of the Tag, a button to manually trigger data synchronisation and recent scores that have been achieved.
Detailed statistics provide the user with information about his latest performances to give him the chance to continuously improve his football skills and become a better player.
