Esprit is one of the worlds largest fashion brands with their headquarter in Ratingen, Germany. They operate more than 900 retail stores worldwide and distributes products to more than 8,500 wholesale locations around the globe. I helped to create a commercially successful retail app that ensured a consistent and qualitative user experience.
The ultimate goal is to simplify your (fashion) life: No matter whether you are looking for the perfect dress for the party of your life, the perfect fave denim or a cool blouse for the office – with the Esprit Shopping App you will find all outfits your fashion heart desires!
Esprit had no native app so far. They offered a mobile app, but all screens were webviews only and so delivered a very poor user experience with no possibility for personalisation and gaining loyal users.
Esprit needed a state-of-the-art mobile shopping app for the two most common native platforms. All webview-concepts have been rethought with the goal to build the app fully native in a newly developed design system.
Turning the old app into a completely new native one with reworked concepts, designs and focus on offering the customers an amazing app experience on both platforms.
